Reminders of Myself Buried in Treasure

Appreciate Me, and what I have to offer….not just my good ____.
Appreciate My soft skin and big legs and big eyes and full thighs and the prize in between.
...My mind in how it will perplex and challenge you

...My laughter that will lift and encourage you.

Appreciate Me, a queen more valuable than rubies, not afraid to face the past hurt of yesterday, knowing that is where it will stay.
Appreciate My struggle and the stretch of my ambition

...My female intuition, the condition, of my physique
...My delicate and petite frame,

...My brain that was wise enough to choose you.
Appreciate Me in all that I do, not just can do to or for you.

I deserve good loving
I deserved to be pleased
I deserve your head between my knees
I come first; I say I come first…literally before you
Because in my eyes and the breath of my sighs lie the cries of babies yet born
Joys without measure and the ability to birth in my buried treasure

Appreciate Me, the way I do
I am beauty personified, energy in me deeper than the leagues of thousand seas
Power perfected is always respected
Appreciate Me

It was an amazing movie, I wanted to record the personal impact it had upon me while my feelings were fresh and raw. I realized that it served as a catalyst in surprising ways. Ironically on yesterday, I checked my mail and in the box was a letter from Sojourner’s magazine--reminding me that it was time to “Renew.” How could they be so right? **************************************************************************** I woke up like any other day this morning but somehow I am different. Tonight I feel a lot of elements coming together and congealing like water droplets across a Teflon pan. For one thing, I learned that I am an organizer--it doesn't matter what I’m organizing or for what cause, it’s what I do. And, I haven’t done it in a while. For two, I have learned that life sometimes takes you full circle. You’ll find yourself at a crossroads that you onc...
